One of the Most Important Presidential Elections in U.S. history

This election has definitely been one of the wackiest ever, with so many crazy outcomes, and of course Trump. People laughed at Trump when he announced that he was running for president in 2016, but all of a sudden he wins a primary, and then another, another, and another, etc. Then people realized the threat that he was, but it was too late, because he basically already got the nomination. Then their's Hillary who was the early favorite to win the nomination and president at that, she did receive a scare from Bernie however. Bernie Sanders who started off with a handful of supports, Bernie grew, and grew even winning primaries. But Bernie was no match for the Clinton machine, still we do have to tip our hat for the run he gave it. Now who will America choose? A (considered by many) fugitive, or (also considered by many) a racist. A billionaire business mogul with no political background, or a former first lady with a political background. Knowing that Donald Trump likes to speak his mind, it will be interesting to see how he debates with Hillary who is known for bringing up the gender card. I personally do not see a clear victor at this point, I believe that this election will be very close. But I do have to pick a winner since I believe in making a design and living with it. I choose...Donald Trump.

So Long Bernie

Hillary Clinton has received the amount of delegates needed to clinch the 2016 Democratic Presidential Nominee, defeating Bernie Sanders. Now Bernie says that he will still continue to fight this, claiming this isn't what the people want. Even though Hillary Clinton received over 3,000,000 more popular votes than Bernie did, so Bernie is proving again that he is just a stubborn old man. But Bernie does need to seriously leave the race and live his life will all his newfound wealth. You literally have 0% chance of winning, the only people who support you are middle class white teenagers who don't understand how the economy works. All they see is Free College, Free Healthcare, and TAXING THE RICH TO HELP THE POOR. But other than that nobody really supports you, nobody wouldn't know who you are if you didn't have such a big influence over the internet. And yes I am very happy that the Bern train has finally crashed and bERNed, it's gonna be a great day browsing the internet without seeing one VOTE FOR BERNIE sign. And america once again says no to socialism, which is rightfully so since Bernie's principals go against what makes America, America. So finally we can say goodbye to Bernie Sanders, what seemed like it was possible at one point, turned out to be a big fluke that died out in spectacular fashion.

Gary Johnson: 2016 Libertarian Presidential Nominee

Gary Johnson is someone you may have never heard of, but this no name is running for president and has a decent following considering he is a third party candidate. Gary Johnson is neither republican nor democrat, even though he considered himself to be a republican up until 2011. If your wondering what a libertarian is, it's basically someone who wants the liberal culture; Such as supporting same-sex marriage, and abortion, but they are fiscally conservative. Meaning that they support the economical values of republicans, so they want less government, lower taxes, and private healthcare. Although they deny leaning toward any of the two parties, they do tend on the majority of issues lean republican. Usually if you are a Libertarian you will run as a republican, just as many in the past have because god knows that you have no chance in the election as a third party candidate. For one you get no media coverage, especially in this election with Trump in the spotlight on every news network. But back to Gary, he is the former governor of New Mexico. He built a contracting company from the ground up, at first he was the only employee, but now it is a multimillion dollar corporation with over 1,000 employees. Now Gary is focusing on winning the presidency, even though he has absolutely no chance, Mark my words if Gary Johnson wins I will eat a sock... a pair of socks.

The Flaws with America and the Pandering of Bernie

America believe it or no isn't perfect, we have our flaws;Even though I personally believe in America the good things do out weigh the bad, because I still believe that this is the greatest country that mankind has ever witnessed. But the issue I have with our country is the priorities that our government has when it comes the issues in society. For example while we are debating about which bathroom to use, the unemployment rates for minorities in this country continues to rise. In Chicago especially, gang violence continues to Poisson this cities image. And this whole bathroom debate is a big waste of time, because no matter the decision you make people will be angry at it. You cannot pander to everyone no matter how hard you try. Take Bernie Sanders for example, he is so desperate to win the nomination that he said he will personally apologize to African-Americans for the events of slavery. I don't really know how much sadder of a human being you can get, at this point Bernie is doing what he said he would never do. Something that he believes separates him from every other politician, the fact that he won't just say and do things only for votes. But Bernie has gotten desperate and thrown that idea out the window. But back to the priorities of this country, the whole gender debate is stupid. You are born a man or a woman or you change yourself from one or the other, but then still you are a man or women. That debate needs to just stop there and we need to focus on the biggest threat the world has right now. No it's not climate change, ISIS is the biggest threat the world right now. What happens if they get their hands on nuclear weapons(maybe from North Korea), what happens if they receive stronger chemical weapons and decide to use that against civilians. What happens if these terror attacks become more evident around the world including America. This government has no real plan to combat these radical islamists, and that is the real debate that needs to be dealt with. Not which bathroom to use, or what gender you identify with, or even religious freedom. A plan needs to be establish to stop terrorist before the threat gets out of hand.

The Stubborn Bernie Sanders

Hillary Clinton needs only 100 delegates to secure the nomination, Bernie Sanders needs to basically sweep every single state until the convention to even be considered to be the nominee. At this point Hillary Clinton with Bernie's only supporters being on Reddit; But yet he stays in the race, why? Bernie has pride in himself, he is standing by what he believes in no matter his odds to win the race. This is something Ted Cruz and John Kasich didn't have, their sole reason for staying in the race as long as they did was to stop Trump. It wasn't because they stood by their beliefs, it was because they believed that Trump being the Republican nominee would poison their party. Bernie stands by his "socialist beliefs", rather than he is trying to just stop Hillary. Yes Bernie Sanders is ultimately hurting Hillary's chances with Trump by staying in the race, but he is standing for what he believes in which is something most politicians don't do in today's society often. I still believe that Bernie needs to leave the race and enjoy his life, instead of having to constantly waste time campaigning. If Bernie had a larger chance to actually win, and if the convention proved to be in his favor. Then it would be okay for Bernie to stay and continue to fight, but that not how it seems so it really is no use. Hillary needs to start an all out assault on Trump ASAP because of the new ground that Trump has gained in national polls. In one of the latest national polls it showed Trump in the lead for the first time over Hillary in this race. This may not seem like much, but it is definitely a cause for concern for Hillary, who needs to address the problem before it gets out of hand.

Is it possible for Trump to beat Hillary?

Most people believe at this point that if Hillary does indeed win the democratic nomination, she is a show in for presidency, because the american people would never vote Trump in...right? Hillary may have the backing of the current president, nearly every current politician including some republicans, and her husband was a former president. But somehow it feels as if Trump has a strong chance to actually win, even though he has some seriously radical views like deporting 11 million illegals from this country. Not that I'm saying that it's the absolute wrong thing to do, I'm just saying that its just not possible. The same with building a giant wall between the U.S. and Mexico, yeah we already have a wall that separates the two countries. But building a new bigger and actually functional wall would be very problematic for the Mexican and american people, causing mass hysteria and possibly a conflict, meaning people will die. Banning muslim immigration isn't to big of an issue people he does have a lot more followers on that issue with the whole ISIS thing going on. Plus during WW2 a ban was put on Japanese people immigrating to the United States because of the conflict between the peoples. Now Hillary is playing it safe with her views, holding strong democratic views though not as radical as Bernie. But what's stopping Hillary from winning is her past, i.e. the emails, and her husbands past affair and how she dealt with it. But she does have one big thing going for her, its the fact that she is a women, it shouldn't have anything to do with her chances but that is only the world we live in. In conclusion Donald Trump does have a chance but it's hard to bet against Hillary and the Clinton machine, we will just have to wait and see how this race pans out.

The Death of American Politics

Donald Trump is the Republican nominee for President of the United States...let that sink in. A billionaire real estate mogul has defeated 15 other politicians to win the quest for a Republican nominee. In 2012 Donald Trump was seen as a laughing stock for attempting to run for president, nobody took him seriously and kind of brushed him away. In 2015 people still laughed at him saying that such a thing is not possible, that he is not a "serious" candidate. After his first primary win people still said that his hype would die down and he would eventually just go away. But over 1,000 delegates later he is the main man on the GOP's side, if you love him or hate him you have to respect that he just won the nominee with everyone against him. Ted Cruz out of nowhere just gives up and leaves, people assumed that he would fight up until the contested convention where he could possibly have a shot. But no he just left, Kasich had to leave because he had no chance at all, he was just there for the free food. It is a sad day that my candidate just left his supporters for dead, at this point his supporters and the GOP have no choice but to rally around Trump in order to stop Hillary. At this point it's time to board the Trump train and build the wall...and get Mexico to pay for it.

The Stage is Set

You're Fired

Yes see it as you may, but Donald Trump is 90% of the way to clinching the nomination and Hillary Clinton is a little more than 200 delegates away from the clinch as well. Bernie has agreed to endorse Hillary if she wins, while Ted Cruz and Kasich have stated that they will contest for the nomination even through the convention. At this point it would be best if Ted and Kasich were to give up and surrender to the new overlord Trump. It's no use fighting Trump and his supporters because it will only cause controversy and ruin everyones day. Bernie saying that he will support Hillary goes against everything he and his campaign stand for. This was a huge mistake on his part because his followers always thought of his as the honest politician who fights for them, and now he supports Hillary.

On the other note it's about dam time that this race is coming down to the final two candidates. In the end we all knew that it would only come down to Hillary and Trump, the only way now for it not to be Trump is if he kills somebody. Even then he will still get 30% of the votes, only way for Hillary to lose is if she goes to prison for the Benghazi scandal. At this point this blog is team Trump, its time for the wall to be built and for Trump to take office.

Something Fishy

Something fishy has been going on in the election, take colorado for example Ted Cruz recived the delagates, even though Donald Trump won the votes. A similar thing happened with Hillary and Bernie, Bernie won the vote but Hillary recived the delgates. This does not come as a surprise to me because we have known since the beginnging that the GOP has had it out for Trump. They have launched many anti-Trump commericals and campaign to stop him from getting the nomination. Trump has also been publically told that he will be rejected the nomination at the contested convention. I do not believe that what is being done to Donald is right since everyone deserves a shot at the nomination if you have enoigh votes.

Bernie Sanders is also being rigged against because he is what stands in the way of Hillary becoming the nominee. Bernie Sanders has finally realized that he needs to start attacking Hillary on the things that she is soft on in order for him to have a shot. But in the end the Clinton machine will not be stopped and these bogus pratices will continue. Again these pratices are not right, but that is American politics for you.

Ground Zero New York

With the Wisconsin elections over with and Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders coming out victourious, all eyes set on New York.  Ted Cruz and Donald Trump wasted no time campagning in New York, with 95 delgates for grabs, neither candidate can even consider losing them. If Donald Trump wins then the race moves even further from the grasp of Ted Cruz. Ted cannot afford to lose these delgates to Trump because the race is coming to a close very soon, and the GOP has not been very favorable to Ted. John Kasich needs to just leave beacause he is only making people lives more difficult by taking votes away from the main candidates.

Bernie Sanders now has some serious momentum going into New York, his victory in Wisconsin has given his campagin new life. Hillary needs a win in New York to stay on track, while Wyoming doesn't really effect the race at all because there are only 11 deleagates at stake there. New York has 247 delegates at stake with the majority winner as usual getting the super delegates. I still predict Hillary and Donald Trump to take New York and develope momemtum. Though I still believe that once the convention rolls around Donald Trump is going to get stripped the nomination, thus the civil war will begin again.

What about Ted Cruz?

Ted Cruz is the Nominee for You

Now I know whenever you hear news on presidential candidates you will mostly likely hear about Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. Ted Cruz is mostly overlooked by the mainstream media, but he is seen by many as the famed Zodiac killer. You get the point that Ted Cruz isn't really seen as a serious candidate for president because he is so overshadowed by Trump. Ted is 273 delegates behind Trump so he still has a chance (though not really considering the following Trump has). Ted is the most conservative candidate currently in the running with his policies being straight from the book of the GOP. Ted is not as radical as Donald Trump though he is very out spoken about his opinion. Ted Cruz does act a lot more mature than Donald Trump, because Ted does not make fun of Trumps wife or looks, the way Trump makes fun of Ted. At this moment even if you dislike republicans with a passion, you will want Ted Cruz to win the nomination over Donald Trump, just so you can take Mr. Trump out of the picture. I suggest the American public pay more attention to Ted other than just hating Trump. If you really hate Trump so bad that you want him to just go away, then Ted Cruz is your nominee.

Bern-out

Bernie Sanders is still in the race (miraculously), I'm not saying that he should surrender the nomination to Hillary, but he should quit. At this point Bernie is hurting the DNCs chances to win because of his constant attacks on Hillary. If Bernie doesn't want Trump to be president then he should tell Hillary that he will drop out if she makes him her VP. Hillary should accept this and now the DNC can worry about stopping Trump. Yes I do realize that Bernie has made a slight comeback in the race but in the end you can't stop the clinton political machine. On the other side of things the GOP is in shambles because of Donald Trump. Trump has taken down the GOP from the inside out and left them in the dust. Trump is one of the few candidates to conquer the evil establishment, and if Donald Trump can win the white house, this will be the single most shocking turn of events the election cycle never saw coming. In 2012 Donald Trump was a laughing stock for saying that he is running for president, now he is the front runner. But this can all change when the convention happens and the RNC decided to not give it to Trump. If that happens then well... this is war now. Riots will break out and America will be in some serious trouble.

Smack Down

This tuesday was not a good day for the campaign of Bernie Sanders as Sanders did not win a single state. Bernie however did get very close in some states, in Illinois he lost by only 1%. Even though Bernie was very close in the delegate count he didn't grab any super delegates. At this point Hillary has a huge advantage in super delegates against Bernie. Hillary has 467 super delegates whilst Bernie has only 26. At this point it is in my belief that it would be best for Bernie to drop out and live whatever life he has left with his family and wife.

On the GOP side... well it is in total chaos because Trump took 4 out of the 5 states only losing Ohio. The GOP is freaking out heavy at this point because of the success Trump has had. Trump even won the Chicago vote when Chicago was the city that told him to leave, this just blows my mind. So at this point there are a lot of closet trump fans who need to come out and show themselves to the world, only for them to be oppressed by progressives. Marco Rubio also dropped out the race after losing his own state to Donald Trump, Marco Rubio should have dropped out earlier on. It is actually mathematically impossible for John Kasich to win.

TD;LR:Bernie Sanders got smacked down, and the GOP is out of ideas. #Can'tStumpTrump

Bernie Sanders Political Revolution

Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders political revolution is basically, take the rich peoples money, while using that money to pay for government benefits such as free health care. Not only rich people, but also large corporations, and wall street, Mr. Sanders will give this money to the federal government (effectively giving the government more power) in order to fund his "Political Revolution". Is this too unrealistic for America? Yes it is in fact is goes against what America stands for as a country. America was started in the first place in order to evade the HUGE tax hikes from British, now Mr. Sanders wants to bring these tax hikes back effectively throwing the American dream in the trash. With these massive hikes to the wealthy less and less people will strive to work hard enough to reach the point of that wealth. America has housed some of the greater innovators of the modern world creating world changing products (example is the Iphone). This innovation makes America great, and these innovators made these products because they strived to be something better, they strived for wealth. Now who is going to want to strive for wealth if the government is going to take that money anyway? Another flaw with Mr. Sanders plan is that he doesn't account for one very important thing, human nature. You can take every dime from the wealthy and give it to the poor, but eventually that money will end up in the same "corrupt" hands. Its just plain human nature, I don't believe that you need to keep raising taxes on the rich, in fact the top 10 percent paid 68% of the federal income tax but yet they earned 45% of the income, where as the bottom 50% paid 3% of federal income taxes, but they managed to earn 12% of the income (source: http://www.heritage.org/federalbudget/top10-percent-income-earners). In my opinion the wealthy are paying more than their fare share of taxes, and that Mr. Sanders plan is only going to make it harder on the wealthy, the more money you take from the wealthy the less money they will have to invest into smaller businesses which as I said before hurts the American dream. Taking corporations more and more will only cause for them to keep more and more jobs for overseas losing american jobs. Raising the minimum wage will force companies to hire less people for shorter shifts , bringing us back to where we started. Giving every single illegal immigrant a chance to be an american citizen will only cripple our economy, by american jobs being lost. I believe that you should help the source of the problem Mexico in the war of drugs and to boost their economy in order for them to support their people. You should still let illegal immigrants who have been here for a certain amount of time to gain U.S. citizenship because you can't just deport them all because its not the American way. More taxes on wall street is not a good idea because this will not help the everyday investor and he/r quest for wealth, allowing for people to invest their money boosts business and allowing for companies to hire more workers, raise pay, etc ultimately boosting the economy. Even if Mr. Sanders does end up putting his plan into action, it will not be funded well enough to move forward, he will then have to raise taxes on not just the rich but also on the everyday american. His plans are so long term that the next president after him (assuming he goes for 8 years) will have to move along with his plans in order for them to be completed. I have ranted long enough so I will not question his age or socialism. In the end Presidential Candidate Bernard Sanders "Political Revolution" goes against what America stands for and will NOT work for this country.

America in Chaos

Donald Trump has officially broken the GOP and the DNC, sending them into chaos. The GOP is scrambling to stop him from becoming the nomine, the GOP has been spending money on advertisements attacking Trump. The GOP has been split with one side supporting what Donald Trump is pushing, and the other side wanting him to just leave. Donald Trump still claims that he will unify the republicans when he becomes president. I honestly say that Donald Trump doing what he is doing is a good thing because he is destroying the two parties. Donald Trump is sending American politicians into chaos, I believe this is long over due because the two parties do need some fixing especially the GOP.

In other news Donald Trump won the republican side of super tuesday by 93 delegates beating out the rest of the field. Ted Cruz had an ok performance in super tuesday, whilst Marco Rubio didn't do so well. Right now I believe in order for any other candidate to have a chance they must all endorse Ted Cruz in order for any other candidate to have a chance. On the other side to no ones surprise Hillary Clinton had a decicive victory over Bernie Sanders. At this point Bernie needs to give it up because Hillary basically has all of the Superdelegates and Bernie would need a miracle to over take her. At this point in time I see Donald Trump becoming president, and I see the people panicking in response. Expect a lot of people to move to canada in response to Trump becoming president.

The Unstoppable Trump & Immovable Hillary

Donald Trump has proved once again that he is the frontrunner by a long shot, in fact Donald Trump received more votes in the Nevada primary than the past two republicans who won the Nevada primary combined. Donald Trump is just racking up those delegates now, and as it stands now I don't think anyone can stop him. Yes a lot of people hate Donald Trump, but if that many people hated Trump, then why does he have such a commanding lead over the rest of the field? I believe that there are a lot of closet Trump supporters, a lot of people secretly love Trump. Is Trump becoming president truly a bad thing? I honestly don't believe so, I personally want to see what Trump will actually do as president, whether or not he will make America great again. But if you don't want Trump to become president then your best bet is for Hillary to beat him, which in my opinion is unlikely.
Hillary Clinton has a massive lead over Bernie Sanders on the democratic side, but Bernie Sanders still has a chance to take it from Hillary. Hillary has begun attacking Bernie Sanders just recently because she has realized how much of a threat he is to her. Hillary has begun (along with Bernie Sanders) to push for the minority vote, pushing a little to far in some cases. Overall I believe there is no chance in hell for Hillary to become president given her previous records (Benghazi). Bernie is too old and too radical for the American people to vote him in. At this point I expect for Trump to take it.

South Carolina and Nevda

On Febuary 20th (this saturday) the Republicans will clash to win the South Carolina Primary, to win crucial delagates.  Since 1980 every republican (except one) who has won the South Carolina Primary has gone on to become the Repubilcan Presidental Nomine. As it stands right now Donald Trump has a comforable lead over Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio with 32% of the preicted votes, while Ted has 19% and Marco with 15%. Still anything can happen during this primary, but I still expect Donald Trump to pull out the victory. Marco Rubio's strong showing at the town hall last night will give him a slight boost in polls.
The same day the Democrats are having a primary but not in South Carolina but instead in Nevada, the Democrats will have their South Carolina Primary on the 27th of Febuary. Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are in a dead heat in this race with Hillary being only a slight favorite. As it stands right now Hillary is expected to win by 6%, but I'd take that info with a grain of salt. Bernie Sanders and his crew have been knocking on doors and campagining like there is no tomorrow. I still however believe Hillary will pull out a narrow victory, whether or not she wins leagally tho. Still Bernie being now considered to be a serious candidate blows my mind considering he is a 74 year old socialsist. But hey free college and free healthcare!!!

Trump and Sanders Triumph

Well Trump continues to show that he is the lead man in this race. Trump won a staggering 38% of the votes winning 10 delegates, Trump beat out 2nd place finisher John Kasich, and in third place Ted Cruz. Trump was, as always gracious with victory claiming that he is going to take South Carolina, and at this point he mostly likely is. Bernie Sanders beat out Hillary (As expected) to win 15 delegates, Bernie got 60% of the vote to just 38% to Hillary. Somehow Martin O'Malley (who dropped left the race) got 0.3%.

Bernie Sanders continues to rack up donation from his loyal donors. In fact Bernie received $7,000,000 24 hours after the polls closed in New Hampshire. The average amount of money donated to Bernie was $27 per person, a stupid amount compared to other candidates. Donald Trump however funds his entire campaign with his own money. Hillary Clinton is pulling out all the stops, even accusing the Sanders campaign of attacking Hillary. At this point the Clintons know that they are in trouble and they will now do whatever it takes to take down Bernie. Bernie knows at this point that he is a serious contender for president, I expect for him to continue to pressure Hillary over time.

The Election as it Stands Now

Wow what a week it was in politics, a lot went down from the Iowa caucuses, to the end of a run for 3 candidates. First off the Iowa caucuses didn't truly go as planned, for one Hillary and Bernie were in a "virtual tie" basically meaning that the race was too close to call. And in typical democratic fashion the race was decided by money... a coin toss, six coin tosses to be exact and some how Hillary won each toss. I call B.S. I don't believe for a second that she won all of the coin tosses, but that is just me. On the Republican side Ted Cruz won with over 41k votes the most in Iowa caucus history, Donald Trump narrowly beat Marco Rubio for 2nd place. Marco Rubio was estimated to to receive
14% of the vote he ended up getting 23%. In other news to know ones surprise Martin O'Malley drops out, Martin had no chance what so ever and he knew it the whole time. Rick Santorum and Rand Paul also dropped out due to their performance in the caucuses. Rand Paul gave it his best shot, but in the end he didn't have the support to continue, I do expect Rand to endorse Ted and make a run for a vice president. Rick was a ticking time bomb and it was only a matter of time before he was going to have to surrender. I believe that Carly Florina, and John Kasich are next to surrender because of their performance in the caucuses.

New Hampshire is next for the caucuses, I predict Ted Cruz to win this next one handily along with Bernie Sanders beating Hillary as well. I also believe that Marco Rubio will beat Trump this time for 2nd place.

News

Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton have agreed to participate in more democratic debates. As you might already know there has been a real lackluster of democratic debate compared to the GOP, part of that is the small amount of democratic candidates, but also in part to the "bias" of the party itself. There has been some speculation on why there are so little amount of democratic debates, along with the debates being scheduled on saturday nights. Many have said that the reason for this is for the democrats to keep the view on Hillary positive with minimum exposure. And to me... this is true, it is really obvious that the DNC is trying to keep Hillary with only positive exposure,  by having debates at a time where most people won't watch them they keep Hillary's exposure low so that they can make her look good.

Rand Paul had a strong showing in the 7th GOP debate last night. After not being on the big stage during the 6th debate, Rand was determined to do the best he could during this debate to make sure that people believe he is a serious contender. Rand was the crowd favorite last night, and from the constant cheers of the crowd Rand was certain that he belongs on the big stage. Rand was clear on his polices, and he answered questions directly. Rand was the clear surprise of the debate. It should also be noted that Donald Trump was not present in the debate. Overall Jeb Bush, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio had exceptionally strong showings, where as Ted Cruz had a shocking low showing considering how good Ted has performed in previous debates. John Kasich just rambled on about Ohio.

Bernie Sanders Plan For America

After much anticipation Bernie Sanders has released his plan to pay for the programs that he proposed. His plan proves one thing... NOTHING is for free. His plan in short is HUGE tax hikes for the wealthy, HUGE tax hikes on corporations. But what is missing from this plan are tax hikes on everyday Americans. Now Mr. Sanders might say now that he will not need to raise taxes on everyday Americans, but he will have to. The cost of Mr. Sanders plan will be around the 12 trillion mark. Just taxing wall street, the rich, and large corporations will not help be able to generate enough money within the next ten years in order to pay for all the new programs such as free healthcare. Not to mention the 18 trillion dollar national debt we have today. In the end Mr. Sanders will have to include big tax hikes for the everyday American in order to pay for these things. Next we wait for Bernie's plan for foreign policy

The 6th GOP Debate

Tonight is the the 6th GOP debate, GOP stands for "Good o'le Party" which is known as the Republican party. There will be two debates, the first debate is known as the undercard or the "kids table". The kids table will include Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, and it should include Rand Paul but he has decided not to participate in the undercard because he believes that he deserves to be in the big boy debate. I believe that it is ridiculous that Jeb Bush gets to stay in the main debate but Rand Paul does not. I also do not understand why John Kasich is allowed
on the big stage anymore because of his poll
numbers. I think at this point it should only be Marco Rubio, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and Rand Paul left in the running. It's time for the rest to give up on their campaigns and allow for those candidates to prosper. The issue I have with the GOP is their differences in these debates, in the democratic debate the candidates agree with each other on most things and are overall friendly to each other. The GOP debate is a civil war which makes it hard to watch. The GOP candidates need to be on the same page if they plan on getting issues taken care of.

How Do You Win the Presidential Election?

Contrary to popular belief winning the election isn't about winning votes in every state, no it all relies on the swing states. There are states that will just vote Republican and states that will just vote Democrat. States that will most likely vote republican no matter what are Texas and Alabama, states that till only vote Democrat are New York and California.

The states that really matter are the states that don't always vote Republican or Democrat, these states are known as Swing states. These states are where the real battle is done, all of the heavy campaigning is done in these states. Some swing states are Iowa, Colorado, the two big swing states are Florida and Ohio. These Swing States usually decide who will become the next president. Ohio being the hardest hit state for campaigning because of the importance of winning the Ohio vote. But sometimes this campaigning can get out of hand, there were reports of sometimes 22 minutes of camping ads within a 1 hour program.

So in the end the presidential election comes down to the few states whose votes are not always for one party, but other states are starting to become swing states during this process.
